Henry Sutton Podcast

A 15 year journey to uncover the real story of the man who proposed a live television broadcast in 1885; who devised and installed the world’s first telephone network; who invented the telephone handset; who devised the world’s first commercially produced rechargeable battery and who – maybe – transmitted an MMS image with Nikola Tesla in 1892.

About this podcast

After finding tantalising clues but scant details about the life and achievements of Henry Sutton I was lucky enough to be introduced to his great grand-daughter, Lorayne Branch in 2008, thus beginning what a 10 year odyssey as she embarked on a mission to properly uncover the evidence of his genius and write his biography.

This 6 part series starts almost at the moment where her book arrives, finally published after 10 years, and details the revelations contained within.
